Batch Convert - Audio Only

Post by northlodge »

I'm working on a project that includes several (roughly 50) short videos into a single DVD project. I'm using specialized DVD authoring software for the project for the advanced features necessary for the project. Unfortunately, the videos do not have a common audio format (i.e., some Dolby, some MPEG, some LPCM) and the authoring software requires that all videos in a project have the same audio encoding.

So the question is - is there a way to batch convert only the audio portion of the videos and leave the video alone? I'm trying to save time here and don't really need to re-render the video for any changes. All video files were saved as MPEG originally and only the audio encoding differs in some videos.

Thanks for the help in advance.

You can place the video on the timeline and then export the audio track.
