That seem to be glass effects an I can see them at a lot of sites.
How can I create them with my PI11?

Hi Steve,

thanks for your fast response. But the only tip that metched was this one:
Creating a Logo with Text and Polygon Shape
By combining text and path objects, you can come up with some great looking logos or other graphic designs. In this tutorial, we show you how to do this, as well as how to work with PhotoImpact's new polygon shapes.

This tutorial was inetersting, I work about 5 Years with PI but couldn´t solve the problem yet. Even after the Logo Tip, my creations doesn´t look as far so good as the images I have postet. I think they were made with Photoshop an until tody I thought that I could realize nearly everything with my belove PI...

No further tipps?

I create a lot of Stain Glass effects and what you are looking at is called the Gel Button effect.

It isn't difficult to create but takes a great deal of practice to match the gradient fill overlays you use to similate the gel effect.

PI11 is capabile of creating the effect. Basically you create a 3D button with gradient fill. Then you apply another very light colored graident fill from the top to bottom. You then apply a shadowed gradient fill from the center down. One to the edges and so on.

There are very many tutorials on the Web that can tell you how to create the effect.
