I have video studio 10 and was wondering can you upgrad to 10 plus for free or do you have to purchase the software all over again?

You certainly won't get it for free - if you wanted 10plus you should have bought that in the first pace - you'll have to pay for the upgrade now.

Are you talking about Pinnacle Studio 10 or Ulead Video Studio 10?

mm7 -- I am intrigued as to why you upgraded to VS so recently, but now want VS10+. Can you give us some idea why you did not buy VS10+ in the first place? (Personally, I simply can't understand why Ulead/Intervideo are selling two versions in the first place... )

Ken,

I suspect Ulead's strategy is to be competitive on price point with Pinnacle "Studio 10" and "Studio Plus 10". I can think of no other reason to offer such a stripped down package.
