Pan and Zoom Images in VS 10 Plus
Please say it's not so
Can someone please tell me if I am doing something wrong
It would seem that a lot of Pan and zoom features for images
are gone from VS 10 Plus
Under Custom Settings
No Middle Pan
No Pause at start
No Pause at end
No Tabs for Start - Middle - End
Do we really have to slide the bar to the end each time we want to set where the pan ends ? the tabs were handy ?
I do a lot of sideshows and this looks like a step back from VS9
there must be something I am not seeing or understanding
it is the trial version I am using ??

Yes Eric it is so. With VS10 +, they took out the middle. However you can do alot more using keyframes, then you could with just a Start, middle, end keyframes in VS9. You can have start, middle between start and middle, middle, middle between middle and end, and end, and between each of them, and in the middle of the middle of the part that is in the center of the last part of that....(I think I confused myself)
You get the idea? You can not do that with VS9 can you ? In VS10 they gave us more control on the Pan & Zooms....

You can easily simulate the start and end delay by creating a key frame near the start/end and setting the zoom the same as frame 1 or last.
I often wanted to have more than one intermediate point and resorted to duplicating the clip, copying start to end etc..
I wouldn't complain that instead of presets they give us complete control.
Now if the key frames in some filters DID work (hint, hint, anti-shake)
