I haven't had this problem before. Microsoft closes the program and I check the error it wants to send, and it is in VS9, module name press.vfx?
any suggestions?
thanks

You've probably got a bad video file. All of my crashes have been caused by corrupted MPEGs. (It was not easy to figure-out that the MPEGs were corrupted, since they played-back OK with Windows Media Player.)

As you have probably realised, press.vfx is a tiny (36 KB) transition. As far as I can see, you have two choices: remove the file from the VFX_plug sub-directory in your Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 9.0 folder, and see if the program works without it. And if you can live without the transition, leave it at that. Or else, after removing it, either repair your installation of VS9 if you have full boxed version of the program (i.e. the installation discs), or a full reinstall if you have a download version.
