FADE IN/OUT from color to movie

Post by totjunt »

Hello friends,

is it possible to do this effect ? From a colour to the movie or from the movie to a colour (i.e black) (Fade in/out)

How can I make this effect ?
I have tested and I didn't see any option to do this.
Maybe it is the VS version (7).

Thanks in advance.
David.

Hi

You should be able to insert a ‘colour’ clip from the library to the beginning of your video or end. Then use the ‘Cross-fade’ transition, also from the F/X library page

There is also a Fade to Black transition somewhere in the library?????

For the sake of completeness, the Fade to Black transition is a line or two down from Cross Fade in the F/X Transitions.
