Smart Sound Problems in V10

Post by sigrho1374 »

I just downloaded V10 & all the extras & installed them.

Everything seems to work until I go to the audio section & click on the "AutoMusic" tab. The program then crashes. Anyone else have a problem like this or any suggestions?

I've used Video Studio since version 4 so I'm not a newbie...

Thanks in advance...

I use MSP8. Smartsound does not crash, but the inserted sound clips do not render correctly, leaving "silent" spots, ending to soon or late, etc.

Seems like the Smartsound integration on both these programs are not streamlined yet. Piity. I have a few Smartsounf Libraries and it would be great if it works seemless.

My workaround is to do the soundclip in Sonic fire pro (First putting it in the right spot with the automusic tab -working in MSP off course- to get the correct lenght) and then create an audio file and insert it in the timeline in the normal way.

Pitty this feature can't be working as it should.

Steve

Do you think this fix will help for the problems I experience with MSP as well?

The fix will affect all programs that utilise smartsound
VS9 / VS10 / MSP8

Smartsound is in fact a seperate program but has to be run from one of the above. You can buy a standalone version of Smartsound but it is quite expensive.

Steve,

I do have the standalone (Sonic fire Pro) but would like to do it straight from MSP, just much easier. I'll try the fix and see if it sorts out the problem.
