Haven't seen this question yet so here goes.
Looked at the specs for both and can't figure out why a program labled "Plus" wouldn't be MORE than one that sounds like a program with LESS features. (Not complaining mind you). I'll be getting the plus version anyway, but was just curious.
Thanks,
Bill
Why is VS 10 $10 more (upgrade versions) than VS 10 PLUS?

The download for V10+ upgrade is indeed less than the download for V10 but Ulead has always given preferential pricing for upgrades - IF there was a straight V10 upgrade it would almost certainly be less than the V10+ upgrade - I think the apparent advantage in pricing is just a result of that policy.

Hi Bill,
Also... if you plan to purchase the upgrade version of VS10+ be sure to check the list of previous VS versions that qualify for the discount pricing.

When you place an upgrade order I believe you'll be asked to enter the serial number of your current VideoStudio software.

Well it looks logical when you read the "which version is right for me" page.
They advise V10 standard for beginners and VS10+ for HD/Surround or if you are experienced.
Thus an upgrade ready person is a target for Plus, not Standard.
Marketing, teen-age girls, two things I'll never understand.

Fortunately, Im done with the latter. 8)
