crashes when selecting capture mode

Video Studio 8 crashes when I try selecting my ATI All-in-wonder card as the input.

I tried changing the "AVBISurf.ax" as suggested at http://www.showshifter.com/support/Supp ... crash.html

but no luck, it still crashes everytime with the following message "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error! - abnormal program termination"

Both my ATI and Ulead programs have the most recent drivers and patches.

Are other users with ATI experiencing the same problem with Ulead software? Any fix available?
