We would be guessing. Clearly, there is some back-burner development going on. The assumption here is that it will be called Workshop 3. But, it could be something like Movie Factory Plus, or DVD Creator Plus. or a new product name... It's very likely that Ulead / Intervideo haven't decided on a product name yet! They don't have to do that 'till they start designing the packaging.

My guess is that Intervideo will continue to focus on the player products and Ulead will focus on the Ediing and DVD authoring products. Since the merger, Movie Factory has been updated, Viswo Studio has been updated, and I think WinDVD Creator has not. The new version of Video Studio ships with with the Intervideo player. Maybe Movie Factory will replace DVD Creator????

Workshop is way more expensive than Creator. I doubt they are going to merge these two products.

Speculation on matters like this is useless. As a beta tester, I have perhaps a slightly better insight into what is happening than most but I frankly haven't a clue in which direction the authorers are moving. In fact, I don't think even the Product Manager(s) know, either! :)
