Hi Wendy,
I will give you the basic instructions however if you want to use PictureShow's special features it would be best to read read the help file and do some experimenting with the various settings...
Launch PictureShow 4. It will open with the tab named "1 Organize" selected.
Click the "New Slideshow" button in the upper left (it has a picture of a yellow sunflower with a "+" next to it).
From the menu that appears, select "New Video Slideshow" and navigate to the video you want to put on DVD and select it. You should now see a thumbnail representing the video you selected in the left column. If you want to add more videos, repeat the procedure until you've added everything you want.
Next, if you want to customize the slideshow and/or menu go to the next tab named "2 Theme". There are quite a few things you can do here but it would be best to read the help file for details. If you want to accept the default settings and burn your DVD you can skip this entire step and go the the next tab named "3 Burn".
Now that you're on the "3 Burn" tab, put a blank DVD in your DVD recording drive. If you have more than one drive, select the correct one from the dropdown menu next to where it says "Drive:" near the top.
Finally, click the "Burn Now" button in the bottom right corner. This will start the recording process. When the DVD is finished you will see a message on your screen.
Hope that helps

It seems like the video clip you're trying to use might not be compatible with PictureShow. What is the file extension of your clip (eg; .mov, .avi, .mpg, .wmv, etc...). Also, if you happen to have some other video clips on your computer try using them as an experiment. If they work properly (but the clip you want to use does not) this might indicate a problem with the particular clip itself.
