I have an application that takes analog video directly to my computer but can't seem to have ulead recognize the input. It shows SOMA capture device only.
What? You have an application, or a device? ("Application" usually means software.)
What kind of capture hardware do you have?
Please read the Read This First... post at the top of the forum. It tells you what we need to help you.
Sometimes, you have to use the special capture-software that came with your capture-hardware. Once you have a digital video file on your hard drive, you can use Movie Factory (or any other video software).
