Video Studio 5.0 - yeah I got the old school
Caomcorder Panasonic pv-gs32

So I am trying to get some time lapse video and I can't figure it out.

The camcorder doesn't seem to have the funtion and the Ulead Studio 5.0 doesn't seem to have the function either.

Any suggestions?

I tried capturing the video image in fast forward but it doesn't come out great.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

VS 5 is very old, and as such does not support ‘playback speed’

You would be best to upgrade to a newer version.

I do not think you can upgrade from 5 to 10. You may have to purchase the full version! 9 was a good version 10 should be better (keep away from 8)

Other than that you could cut and delete every other frame, that would speed up your video. Not really a practical solution.

For simulating time-lapse this can be done in both VS9 and VS10, VS10 Plus. However you would of course mute the audio, unless you are wanting the chipmunks as the audio track.

MSP8 does a good job with this also..
