MS8 plugin

Hi folks!! I'm so glad to be here, i really enjoy this program, but sometimes i miss some plugins that we really need to do some effects, like text on the path, some filters to video etc..i want know how to do a text follow the path like in after effects...i saw adorage plugin but is not easy to use and miss some points and curves to edit right...so if there is a good way or plugin in please send me a answer ok? Thaks for while...

hi man,
so it is very easy with msp. you can do it using moving paths. after you prepare your title clip, choose a moving path. you have to open the options dialog box and add keys to create your path. you shall create lots of paths and costumize them. it is like video overlay... also you may learn it from video editor's help pulldown menu

Not an actual plugin for MSP but a really good alternative is to use Ulead COOL3D. This software allows one to create 3D text, models, position, scale, orientation, add lighting, shadows, image&video textures, bend, bevel, toon shader, particle generator, etc.... all with the use of keyframes. Can be saved in various formats and retain alpha channel for MSP. Easy learning curve with great results.

There are many ways of skinning this cat. I have used the Fit text to path feature in Corel Draw! (or other vector apps) and then exported it to MSP with an Alpha channel for transparency. A MP could then be applied, if needed.
