transferring from VS 9.0 to 10+

Post by Dominic »

is there an easier way to transfer all my previous settings from version 9.0 to the current 10 plus, such as transferring all library manager title, audio, and video settings so that way i don't have to redo them? i have a crapload of title settings. on another sidenote, is there a star field video filter effect? i've always looked for one, the feel of the zooming stars zooming to the viewer with video behind would look sweet.

Hi Dominic,

Sorry about the late response. However there is a way to do this. I read recently a post by Steve (sjj) the moderator of the Tutorial section. I have not had time to look it up yet, but you should be able to find it under the video studio forum, and since it pertains to VS10, it should be within the last week or two...

***EDIT***

I just done a quick search and found one, you can view it here:

Hi

To transfer all of your titles, video clips, etc. from VS 9 to VS 10 go to the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\9.0

copy the following files:

VS_Video.dat
VS_Title.dat
VS_Image.dat
VS_Audio.dat

Paste them into the following folder

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0
