If it's a secured card, then it cannot be recognized. It must not be secured to be recognized I think.

Then I have to ask why would the camera manufacturer supply the software when it uses the secure digital card?

PhotoExplorer 8 and 8.5 will work on Windows XP.

For the secure digital card issue, in the website of Apex Digital it says that feature is an optional feature ( http://www.apexdigitalinc.com/proddetai ... enumber=81 ). Maybe you can submit a question in http://support.apexdigitalinc.com/faq.a ... l%20Camera to ask Apex Digital why they provide such a software that does not support their secure feature. As I know, Ulead will provide OEM softwares that will fit the needs of its OEM customers. If Aplex Digital does not ask Ulead to add the feature, then Ulead will not add the feature into it.

IMHO, I think it's because the secure digital card feature is an private format of Apex Digital and they do not wish to share the technology with other companies. However, it's only my guessing.

Hope this helps.
