Sound is ahead of video

Post by matt pacchetti »

Sorry guys but I have a new problem. For some reason after I record my video and then I play it back in VS9 the audio is a couple seconds ahead of my video. Im useing a panasonic mini DV with a USB card because I dont have a fire wire. And when I click on record a video it automaticly goes to
Source USB Video
Fromat AVI will not go to DV
Any Ideas as to why my audio is ahead of my video ?

DV / AVI

I wondered about that too. The VS9 "Users' Guide" (page 53) states that selecting DV from the Format list in the Options panel saves the captured video file as DV AVI (*.avi). I'm no expert, but maybe that's why it defaults to AVI instead of DV.
