Help - Why does my finished DVD Film lose Top & bottom?

Post by Screwball »

Is Ulead Video Studio the greatest programme ever written?? I am having the greatest time ever - But I cannot understand why when the DVD is played back I lose the top and bottom of my pictures including some of the titles?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
When Ulead VS does all it does why does one need seperate programmes like Movie Factory and Ulead Burner

Could you explain a little more to help us understand your problem?
Where is the top / bottom cut (watching TV?)
What is your source data, the output format?
Can you update your profile with relevant configuration data?

No, you don't need Movie factory nor Burn module on top of Videostudio.
Every functionnality is inside VideoStudio, although strictly speaking it is only a Video Editor, nevertheless all needed modules are embedded.

I am very new to both this site and video editing so bear with me. when I preview the film or images within ulead, everything is perfect - after burning the dvd has 'zoomed in leaving the top and bottom of a portrait cut off including titles if they are two lined. Somehow the programme has zoomed in some. Thanks for your concern.

Hi

If you play the Dvd on your Pc does it still lose the top and bottom of the video?

Is it just the aspect ratio of your tv set that needs changing?
