how to create a first play video

newbee to pictureshow4.
:?: I know this does not relate to this program but can
anyone put me on the right track. - I want to create a first play video
for my slideshow. (family albums) - Is there a simple program that will create a scrolling text. eg who made this show, contact, etc. or a demo where i can just input my own text. I have no video camera to make my own video.

A full-featured editing proggy like Ulead VideoStudio 10 would be my recommendation. Many of the software publishers who produce these types of programs (including Ulead) offer 15 or 30 day trial versions however most do not include ready-made video clips until you actually purchase the software. That said, you can always search the web for non-copyrighted video content. If you find something you like you can download it and use it in conjunction with a video editing program to create a first-play movie. If you're looking for a longer term solution and want to keep your expense to a minimum you might also try sites like amazon.com or ebay for older versions of VideoStudio (or something similar) which will often be sharply discounted for liquidation.

Also take a look at the following posting for a list of freebies that can be used with various Ulead products:

Hope that helps :-)
