I am an avid fan of Ulead VideoStudio. I have used Cyberlink PowerDirector (so-so), Pinnacle Studio 9 (utter junk), and Ulead VideoStudio 8 (awesome).
I would buy version 10 in a flash, except that I am put off by one system requirement:
Intel® Pentium® M, Intel® Pentium® D, or Intel® Pentium® 4 Extreme Edition processors or AMD Athlon™ 64 compatible
Well, I have a 1.90 gigahertz AMD Athlon XP processor on my system, with 1.5G RAM and 500G of hard drive capacity. It lets me edit and render DVD movies very nicely with Ulead VideoStudio 8.
Does the new version REQUIRE an Intel processor or the 64 bit AMD, or is it just optimized for these? Will it just render a little slower with an AMD Athlon XP processor, or not run at all?
Thanks!
