For nearly a year i have used Ulead vs9 for DVD production, which consists of jpegs and Smartsound audio. My "movies" end up being 200+meg and too large for internet. I'm certainly going to upgrade to v10 soon, if not today, but what do i need to make my movies "internet ready" or smaller file size? I'd like to show samples of my work on my website.
thanks!

What Ulead product do i need?

Hi David,
I like your sig...
For what you are wanting to do, it might be worth looking into Swishmax and Swishvideo http://www.swishzone.com. To present video on the internet you need to be able to compress the heck out of your files, yet have a good decent quality, and do so where people do not have to wait ages for it. I suggest Swish because it is about 1/3 rd the cost of Adobe/Macromedia Flash, and will do about the same.
VS9, and VS10/Plus either can produce smaller files and good quality for internet, however you have to sacrafice content to keep the size down. You can use MPEG4, DivX, Xvid and WMV for internet sharing. They are all highly compressed and intended for distribution. DivX seems to be the current choice of many. It can deliver excellent quality with very little size.
Those are a couple of optitions that I can think of right now. Hope that gives you a way to proceed...
