How can I captrue the date displayed in my video camera and get it displayed with the movie?

With DV this is not possible, without the use of a special utility. You can either place a title in an overlay track, using a video editor program such as Video Studio/Media Studio Pro or DVdate can be used on an overlay track to display the date and time your video was shot...

How can I captrue the date displayed in my video camera

Thanks for the info. I tried Dvdate and it worked. In the old analog days the date was captured as part of the movie which was very convienient but now with the digital techonology and advanced tools from Ulead and Pennacles it's not possible!!
