Which version did you get -- the "Standard" or "Disc Creator" version?
What is your process for capturing video? What hardware is involved during the capture?

I have mf3 disc creator and i have a tv tuner in my computer and am trying to transfer my vhs tapes to dvd using direct to disc. As i wrote before it worked perfect with the trial. Iuse a vhs recorder to play the tapes to my computer. U lead support will not help me at all. I am going to try to call them on the phone and see if they can help.

Is the DVD has no sound or the media clip you use in DVD MovieFactory??
If it's the DVD, do you set the project audio setting to be MPEG audio?? Is your DVD player a NTSC one?? I ask because most NTSC DVD players will not play DVDs in MPEG audio format correctly. DVD in MPEG audio format is mainly used for PAL DVD players.
Also check this thread: http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=1551
Hope this helps.

No Sound
Thanks for the reply HTChien.
The media clip has sound. I captured a VHS movie to avi.
The "no sound" problem occurs when I burn a DVD using the trial version of MF3 Disc Creator. The video is fine just no sound. I have attempted this three times trying different settings. There are not many settings to choose from in the first place but still no sound.

Dear Paragon:
Click on the Gear button on the bottom of the Add/Edit Media page in DVD MovieFactory and then check if the audio property in your project setting is MPEG Audio. If it is, change it to other audio type by clicking the Customize button in the Project Settings dialog and see if it works.
Also please let us know the followings:
1. Audio/Video properties of the captured AVI.
2. Project settings in DVD MovieFactory.
3. The disc media/brand you use.
4. The burner model/brand you use.
5. The player model/brand you use.
Hope this helps.
