Failure to format using DVD MF3
I have processed about 1.75 hours of a video from a camcorder in 2 sessions. I have selected standard play to get it to format on a DVD+r disk, but when I set it to burn it spends about 20 minutes getting to 15% and then decides to create a problem and needs to shut down (windows speak). Has anybody got any fixes before I throw it out and try something else.
Sounds like a corrupt video file... (You can't always tell by playing the file. Sometimes it will play OK, but have some "sneaky" little corruption that fouls-up the rendering.)
Perhaps you can provide us with some more information???
Take a look at the Read This First post at the top of the forum for the kind of stuff we need to know.
Do you have a digital camcorder that records to DV tape? (good) What format is your video? Did you "capture" to AVI/DV? (good) Did you capture to MPEG, or edit an MPEG? (bad)
