operation aborted but not using divx

Post by leda »

Hello,

I can't manage burning my dvd project, i've been working thousands of hours on it...
I read the old posts, but I can't find any solution for me, as all my videos are in mpeg format & dv compression (dv video encoder type 1)... and I'm not using divx format...
my others media are : 1 mp3 songs, and some JPEG pictures...

The thing I noticed, is that the burning is not aborting always at the same point... can my files being corrupted or something like that ?
Does that mean that I have to do the capture again ? (grrr) and all the chapters thing also (grrrrrr) :( :( ...

It could be that you have one or more corrupt file, but it is bad practice to use mp3 as an audio source. I recommend you convert it to WAV format before introducing it.

Yes. I've had lots of problems with MPEGs, especially when I tried to edit them without using a special-purpose MPEG editor. They can get "sneaky corruption". They play OK, but cause the Ulead programs to crash, or cause "lip-sync" problems.

I've never had any problems with JPEG stills.

I've never tried an MP3, but I agree with Devil, it could be a source of trouble.

it's strange because i didn't edit my mpeg files at all... i just put chapters in them...

i don't know what to do now...
