How Accurate is the 'Ad-Zapper' in MF 5?

Hi, I currently use MovieFactory 4 and was considering an upgrade. Mostly I time shift sports/movies to DVD. I was wondering how accurate the Ad-Zapper is for removing commercials? Previously I've used Beyond TV software which also skips commercials, but is not totally reliable.

There is no magic code in a TV broadcast to say "Adverts begin / Adverts end" It is simply a renamed "Split be detect scene change" function and will detect any major changes in the video such as going from a bright outdoor scene to a darker indoor scene etc.

You can imagine the response of the TV Advertisers if such a code was inserted into a TV Broadcast!
