GIF Animator: Importing movies

Post by rmfought »

I am trying to make an animated GIF from a Quicktime Movie.

The problem is I can't control how many frames it makes from the movie, it is creating way too many, and I can't find a way to automatically delete every other frame. I have to do it by hand, which is quite annoying. Any tips?

You can:

1. Select File->Open Video.
2. Select the video file you wish to open.
3. Click on the Duration button in the Open Video File dialog.
4. Use the Preview controls in the Duration dialog to set the mark-in/mark-out information of the video file.
5. Click on OK to confirm the modification.
6. Click on Open in the Open Video File dialog to import the trimmed video.

Hope this helps.
