I have alot of photos that were scanned using Ulead PhotoImpact SE v3.0 and an older operating system (probably Win 95, but I don't recall for sure). The files all have an extension of UPI. I'm currently running Windows XP (it's a new computer). I would like to convert the files to JPEG. I have installed PhotoImpact SE v3.0 on my new computer. I can open the file fine and save the file fine, but if I try "save as" it closes the program as soon as I click "save as". It never gets to a dialog box.
I've downloaded the trial version of PhotoImpact v11, but it cannot open files with an extension of UPI. First of all is that correct? Second of all, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I cannot get the photos back to re-scan them.
Thanks
