Hi,
Do any of you have any idea how to make this effect? Its like when you watch the news on tv, and their is other news scrolling from right to left on the bottom, but the text has a colored background to it, yet it is still semi-transparent? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it possible to make that tape kind of 'move' up instead of just appear? Like, when you click your start bar, it just pops up, but you can set the option for it to kind of move up gradually?
Thanks!

Take a color-clip from the archiv into the overlaytrack and expand it like you won´t. Then click on "attribute" and "mask & chroma-key". Choose in the first field the transparence. Then create a title and use an amination.

Quick a chance to beat Torsten again,

of how to do the 'Ticker Tape' title.
If you want the text to move up the screen you basically do the same - except that you type each line individually pressing 'Enter' between each line and then use the 'Fly' animation which moves up instead of sideways.
