Change Quantization Matrice

Hi,

I intend to make some captures directly to mpeg2 and should be nice to test some Quantization Matrice.
I don't know if VS9 has this feature or using some trick I could change that (for example changed some .ini file).
After made some searches, I find anything about that.

Is there a way to do that ?

Yes there's a way, you need to activate the Advanced MPEG settings first via an extra entry in an ini file.

Edit what will correspond on your machine to a "standard":
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\9.0\uvs.ini

under section [viodriver] add a line advance=1

Then when you open the project properties in tab Compression you will have a new "advanced" button.
In the Advanced window, select Advanced Video Settings tab, then you'll see you can check "User Quantization", which in turn allows you to click on Edit Matrices. Good luck.
