OK so the head count is now 2, its still a bit small if you are hoping for Ulead to get a programmer to spend several hours writing some new computer code.

I see this as a strong suggestion to make the keys configurable in a future version, but it can't be fixed in V8.0, and it is too late for the upcoming Service Pack. I would also argue that there are productivity enhancements in V8 that make it a better choice than earlier versions that do use the J/K/L keyboard commands that are being asked for.

Finally, the keyboard command change does not amount to a software defect, and Ulead / Element5 would likely impose a restocking or refund fee if anyone wants to return MP8 -- details can be found here:

I think that what seems to be the industry-standard J=Reverse, K=Pause, L=Play/FF would be a good feature to have as well.

I do not understand still delete good solution what for *J/L*? Users can depend on disposing framers.

At fast double impact of digital act J/L and click to digital mouse PLAY. Only what for click mouse since it would be possible to use keyboard.

I'm not sure that I understand the question: are you asking how to start playing from the timeline? You can use either the SPACEBAR or ENTER keys for that.

Please clarify if I misunderstood what you wrote.

The point has been made. Let's not flog the horse to death by keeping this thread open ad nauseam. For the information of the OP and the other Polish poster, I have drawn Ulead's attention to the issue. It is now in their hands whether they will act on the info and, if so, when. It would seem doubtful if it would be in SP1, but one can never tell. Obviously, I cannot say what we are beta testing, at the moment, but I can say we are doing some interesting work, just now.

I thank. Information understands that I use I be significant not only J/K/L. Nicely that part understands requirement of effective work from you. I think that we can end thread and wait for Service Pack.
I salute.

Understand, I'm only a beta tester and can point out things to Ulead. I have zero power of decision as to what they do, include or exclude. So don't blame us beta testers if you are not happy with a decision.
