Converting image from library to jpeg

Post by paul85 »

I have taken an image from my video (VideoStudio9) and it is in the image library. I would like to use this image on my DVD label, but I think it needs to be a jpeg before I can do that.

How can I convert the vsp image to a jpeg, or otherwise make it suitable to use as a hard copy.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Paul,

You can go to Preferences/Capture and change the Capture Still Image to JPEG. I think the default is Bitmap. Then take another screen shot.

OR
Navigate to the Working Folder you have designated in Preferences, and you should find the image there. You can Right-click on the thumbnail in the libarary and choose Properties. It will tell you the path of where the image was saved to. Then using an image editor of your choosing (PI, PSP, Adobe, Irfanview) whatever, and simply save it to another format...

Hope that helps...:)

Hi Paul

Afaik the images in the vs9 library are jpeg’s.
Find them here c:\program files\ulead systems\ulead videostudio 9.0\samples\image

You can also download Free Photo Collection from ulead.

Look at for more free goodies.
