Video Clip Quality Poor
I have Ulead Video 7 and using a Sony DV cam/firewire, creating some various clips....the play back is pretty good, but when edit it for slow motion, the playback is pretty grainy, like ulead needs more fps to capture. When I use the DV cam's LCD to view it, run it in slow motion about the same as the clip, it looks perfect....any ideas??

If you run the tape in slowmo, it runs slower and hence looks better.
There is no such thing for DVD or VS, the speed is 25 fps for PAL and 29.97 for NTSC. In order to slow down your video, VS has to duplicate frames. each frame is made up of two fields, alternating scan lines. if these get duplicated and placed in the wrong order, the result is not going to look good.
I would first make the clip frame based, not field based, and then slow it down.
