Question on entering music

My question is this: I am using a Gateway computer with the media edition software and I can not seem to get more than one song to load on any slide show that I put together. What am I doing worng? I keep getting the message of unable to open file. Can someone please give me the step by step on this part of the process. I do not see any great detail in the user manual about putting music to a CD slide show.

I have tried importing songs from I-Tunes after purchasing them and no luck. Even with a purchased CD still no luck with getting more than one song per slide show.
