MS8 Demo VEditor REFUSES to start

Post by SuiXide »

I've done just about all I know to do. VCapture and AEditor work perfect, but VEditor refuses to even acknowledge It's own existence. I've uninstalled, deleted all files pertaining to anything Ulead, searched the registry and removed anything having to do with ulead, reinstalled and it STILL will not work. I try to start the program and nothing at all happens. It was working fine a week ago, now it won't. Help!

If you are using Windows XP with SP2 you might try this, it is for Video Studio 9 but might work for MSP8, substitute veditor.exe in the Media Studio directory.

I keep clicking the VideoStudio 9 icon but VideoStudio 9 won't launch. What do I do?

Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select then click Add . Locate vstudio.exe in the VideoStudio folder in Program files and select Open . Click Apply then restart your computer., subistute the

I've been having the same exact problem as the OP. I tried the solution posted here but that had no effect. If there's any other advice I could get I'd extremely appreciate it!!!

Thank you in advance.

Is that the trial version, or the full product?

If it is the trial, there may be a conflict between the Softwrap trial software wrapper and your computer's configuration. Not having a drive C: is known to cause problems, and there may be other issues such as conflicting applications.
