I have downloaded the trial version, but everytime I click to burn the DVD at the very end of the burning process it pops up an error and won't work. I just had my DVD burner replaced because it wouldn't read any DVDs and none of my programs would work. But now my crappy DVD burning programs work, but this one still doesn't.
I actually used the trial version of this back a year ago, so I know it should work. Since then my computer has crashed and everything was put back on the comp and just recently I downloaded the trial again.
The error message I get is, "Generic error from CD/DVD recording softwear. Please make sure the drive is ready and try again. Error: TAO-2048-SPT1-5B-02-05-72-03".
Version 2 Trial will not burn (get error message).
Maybe another program is interfering???? My computer came with Roxio installed. It seemed to take-over my computer. It was running in the backgroiund all the time, and caused screwy problems with the Ulead programs. It was a new computer, so I started-over... Re-installed Windows, etc. I didn't re-install Roxio, and everything was OK. (I assume that I can't "drag & drop" files to a CD-R or DVD-R, but I don't use CDs & DVDs like that.)
Try "burning" you project to your hard drive (if you're not already doing this). Then, use one of your "crappy" burning programs to copy the nice authored & formatted files to the DVD-R.

Maybe you should download the latest CD/DVD Engine Patches:
Ulead CD/DVD Engine Patch:
http://www.ulead.com/tech/general/burning_engine.htm
Ulead 16X DVD Burning Pack:
http://www.ulead.com/tech/general/burning_pack.htm
I believe they will also work for the trial version, but the trial version does not inlcude the fix for the purchase version and you can only use it for 30 days.
BTW, what is the burner you use and the disc brand??
Hope this helps.

Ok, well I appreciate all the suggestions, but none of them have worked.
I can save the menu I make in Ulead and it saves as an iso... but I am having trouble figuring out how to open up the iso in nero in order to get it to burn.
Any suggestions? Or anyone know of a program I can download to open the iso's in so that I can burn them?

I really thought that alchohol program was going to work. But when I burnt the iso file off and stuck it in a dvd player it said error... but I put it in my comp and was able to somehow get the little video on it to play, but not see the menu. Weird stuff.
But it really doesn't matter anyway, because my trial version of ulead just ran out like 5 minutes ago. But I appreciate the help.
Don't guess you know of any kind of program that I can download that I can make my own DVD menus in do you? The only ones I've ever found besides ulead are so limited and don't either let you select your own background or don't let you make multiple scenes, etc.
