Can I dump video studio 8 from my computer now that i have installed the new version????
I bought it online and downloaded it. Will it harm my upgraded version if I getrid of the old version.

Just be aware that some people have reported troubles with VS9 after they uninstalled VS8. Apparently there are some shared files which might be accidentally deleted during the uninstall process if you press the wrong button. So have your installation files for VS9 ready -- if you have discs, you can use the Repair function in Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. If not, then you might have to do a full reinstall of VS9.

You are also going to need it if you ever need to re-install the VS9 upgrade, or if you want to move it to a new computer. If you have VS8 on a retail-CD, you're OK. If you downloaded VS8, you should probably keep the original download files.
