SerializeBB Error and shut down

I just started receiving this error in VideoStudio 8 (upgrade from 6). After the program starts the opening screen it then comes up with the message "SerializeBB Error" and shuts down. I have used the program for some time with no problems. A search on Google found a couple of hits but no solution. I reloaded version 6 and then the upgrade version 8 but no luck. One guy said to uninstall everything Ulead and remove all traces from the register. I don't want to go to this kind of trouble since I have several other Ulead programs. Ulead help hasn't answered my e-mail and I don't expect them to. Any hope here?

There is no need to remove your other Ulead programs.
