Capturing Video

SUBJECT: Capturing from panasonic NV-GS180

Nature of the problem
Can't capture from camera - will capture through Windows movie maker, an proprietry software provided by Panasonis, i'd prefer to use Ulead..

What devices are involved and their mode of connection?
New camera, previous Canon model captured fine..., no changes other thancamera model

using PAL

Error Codes (if any)
says device driver may not be functioning ( i think..)

System information
Windows Xp, 1GB ram, 128mb GEFORCE Vid, firewire

and exactly how are you connecting the camera to the PC ?

hi, connecting by firewire, which is working fine with XP movimaker and the Panasonic software, Ulead just can't seem to capture from it - it will however control the camera - play, stop etc.
