PS4 Text Boxes Between Slides

Post by battm »

I have this question posted elsewhere in the user forum but maybe it should be under Picture Show stuff.

I want to insert text boxes on blank slides between certain pictures (description of historical significance, lyrics to song that is playing, etc.). When I enter the text, it does not appear until I click outside the text box. As soon as I go back into the text box to "edit", the type disappears from the screen. I am using a colored font that is dark enough to see but something about this isn't working. I was able to do this very easily in PS2.

When I add a blank slide and type some text I am definitely able to see the text whether I'm inside or outside the text edit box. As long as you're sure the problem isn't font color versus background color, it looks like you have a valid tech-support issue. Sorry I don't have any suggestions for a fix. If anything comes to mind I'll be sure to post.

Thanks. I am using a Ulead custom color that looks like a dark pumpkin on a white background and it shows up very nicely as long as I'm not in the text box. Kind of amusing actually. The cursors just bops along as I type but the screen is white. I'll go to tech support.
