export of PI 8 webpages to Front Page 2003
Looked through several pages here, and did a search could not find anything on this. Up until recently when I upgraded FP 2000 to FP 2003 I have had the ability to save as webpages and then to export to FP button inside the window. It is not available now (greyed out) how do I get it back. Want to export to FP so can be edited in HTML text areas. Thanks.

Front page export in PI
Hi all me again,
Have been fighting with this for some time and realized that I might have not made myself clear. IN PI 8 (i know it is old), under File, save for web, as html, there are two click boxes, export to microsoft frontpage, and copy to clipboard, The option for export to MS FP used to be available before the update, when it did FP opened and the page came up in FP, now the choice is grayed out. I have set FP as helper as discussed earlier still does not work.
Think a reinstall of PI will help? Or is it not compatible with FP 2003? Thanks again all.

I'm guessing that when you did the FrontPage upgrade, something went awry. Is FP set as the default editor for HTML documents? You can check this out by going into the Control Panel, Internet Options, and look in the Programs tab.
A workaround is to just save the HTML file, then open FP and open it from there.

Yes FP is the default editor and was working fine with FP 2000. The work around is what I have been doing, but it is more of a pain in the rear. Thanks for the response.
