Hi.
1. Add new TimeLine1
2. Change TimeLine to TimeLine1
3. Add Clip
4. Change TimeLine to MainTimeLine
5. Insert from TimeLine1
6. Create Video File
Clip is not change - UMS rendering clip ?
UMS rendering clip from TimeLine1
I'm not sure I understand you. In the first place, your operation 2 is automatic. When going to op. 5, you have to place the virtual clip where you want it - I assume you are doing that. A virtual clip is just that and is always uncompressed, because it doesn't exist physically until it is rendered. It therefore must be re-rendered unless your project is uncompressed with the same settings.
This is why it is often quicker to create a new file in a sub-timeline and introduce that on the main timeline, rather than to insert from the sub- to the main-, requiring re-rendering (assuming a near-lossless codec such as DV).
