Text Boxes between slides

Post by battm »

I am having trouble inserting text boxes between slides (I use them to contain background info or introductory info about the upcoming slides). While I am entering the material, I cannot see what I am typing. Once I exit the text box, the text appears on the screen with all of the proper attributes, but I want to be able to see what I am editing as I go along. Why does this seem to be so difficult?

Could you be a bit more specific? Maybe you are using a color for your typing that blends into the background?

If we would know which program you are using....

Thanks, Heinz. I am using Picture Show 4. In the past I have put blank slides in between certain pics and then placed text descriptions of an area or historical significance, lyrics to the song playing in the background, etc. I am using a font and color that I can see clearly once I hit any area outside of the text box, but while I am typing or if I double click the box to edit the text, the text disappears and shows a blank text box. I have done this regularly with PS 2 and it worked like a regular text box. Obviously, I am missing something here.

Sorry, I don't use picture show and cannot be of any more help. have you tried different colors while typing? You can always change the color when you are done.
