UVS 9.0 installation

Post by Dr S. »

Hello

Am trying to reinstall full version of UVS 9.0 onto a new harddrive. I downloaded the trial version again but am not being given the option of activating the full product by entering in my name/purchase reference - it goes straight to the interface. Under 'About Ulead' no serial number appears, which suggests it is not being recognised as a full version. Also, after downloading update packs I cannot install these - error message is 'Cannot find UVS 9 on your machine'.

UVS 9 is installed on drive C and this has just been formatted. I have also followed the instructions on the forum for reinstalling UVS 9.0.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Simon

although you can have different versions of the same product on your computer
eg. videoStudio 7, videoStudio 8, videoStudio 9
Having a trial version will interfere with a full version. You need to completely remove the Trial version and then install the full version.

Thanks Steve. I do not recall downloading a separate version of the full programme; I had a trial, then when prompted to buy it on starting the programme I did so and entered the activation code I was sent to unlock the trial. Are you saying that to get the full version I need a separate download now? If I so I will contact customer support and ask them to help me out.
