Trim Mark Takes Control

Post by sussertown »

Once I use the trimmer in the Timeline, whenver I try to move to a spot in a different clip or even a different spot, I am taken by force to the beginning of the previous trim mark (red) that is still there. How do I get it to turn off?

Hi sussertown,

It appears that you trimmed while in Project mode. The red bar indicates your trimmed Project. To undo this, make sure you are in Project mode. Then drag the little blue trim handles out to their respective sides.

To trim a clip, and not your entire project, insure you are in Clip mode.

Regards...

Thanks for your help. It would be nifty if this site had a print page.
