Firstly I checked the SEARCH for "audio editor zoom" and came up with nothing related to my question.
I loaded a .WAV file into Audio Editor and am trying to put F5 audio cues in it. I wanted to zoom into the waveform to see the start of music beats and press F5 accurately rather than simply F5 as I listen. I went to max zoom (and the one below it) and noticed that the playhead and associated vertical line no longer appeared. I found the playhead and vertical line useful at normal zoom to know where I was and to be able to use left/right arrow keys to move accurately. Since this is missing at higher zooms I am getting stuck.
Is this a bug? Is there a logical explanation for the behaviour? Am I approaching the problem in a bad way? Is there a better approach?
I know I can use Video Editor to add the audio cues but using Audio Editor permanently embeds the cues in the .WAV file ready for use again. If I used Video Editor I think I would need to add the cues over again. However, I think Video Editor has better zoom/playhead control.
I want the audio cues so that I can create a quick photo slideshow synced to the audio cues.
Thanks
Darren
