Advance video editing crashes when I insert video....

I am trying to insert .mov video files for editing and when I do, the advance video editing immediately closes and goes back to the DVD MovieFactory3 menu screen. The videos range from 3mb to 13 mb. My computer specs are in my profile. Thank you.
