"Preview" mode will only give you an approximation of the final output, it is throwing the project together "on the fly." To really see the final product you have to actually make the final product.
You have provided no info on the source files or what you are trying to achieve with the project, webstreaming? DVD? So that's about all I can say.

I agree with Lance. Many times I thought I had a problem until rendered it to the final product, then it was fine.
If it's a long project you are working on, try duplicating your problem on a shorter version, then render it and check the outcome.

UVS9 audio problem between transition effects
The sound 'jumpy' happen when I put a color clip or a still image at the front of a video file and apply a transition effect between its. The sound 'jumpy' between transition effact even the final product.

Well then, you're going to have to provide us with more details:
1. System specs
2. How you're getting your video to your pc
3. Properties of your clips
4. Properties of your project
5. Type(s) of audio files
6. Are you using the Recommended Procedure

Well that is what we are trying to find out isn't it?
Try turning off all background processes, screen savers, anti-virus, EVERYTHING that is not necessary to editing. Also check to see if you hard drive is fragmented.
I also noticed that you only have 256mg RAM, that is barely enough to keep Windows running let alone run video editing.
