It depends upon if you've captured to DV/AVI in which case it all has to be rendered (converted) to MPEG. If on the other hand you're capturing to MPEG then you need to have "Smart render" turned on.eggs44 wrote:...O_o...anyway...
So that part is so post to tale 9 hours?
You need to answer the requests by George.

Nope, nothing worked, I set the Bunring speed at 4.0X, Whitch the sticky said should only take 30 min to burn a DVD at this speed, Well, I got up this moring at 5:30 A.M. AT it was still converting the videos, So its still taking about 9 hours to burn on to a disk.
I got home from school and the DVD was done, and i poped it in my DVD player, But the audio is still out of sync with the video.
I realy need some help on how to fix thees 2 problems.
Thanks

I am loath to come into this discussion at such a late stage and after all relevant advice seems to have been given. However, I am still not convinced that eggs44 has understood, much less followed, the advice which John Hunter and Steve in particular have given.
To spell it out simply -- eggs44 -- when you have done all your editing on a particular game, cut out the ads etc, and you have the edited project in the timeline, you should then go to Share > Create Video File > DVD. This will produce the DVD-compliant mpeg-2 file which John and Steve have both referred to.
I suspect (as do they) that instead of following this correct procedure, you are instead clicking on Share > Create Disc > DVD. If you are in fact doing this, you should most definitely NOT. To repeat, you should first click on Share > Create Video File > DVD. As Steve has indicated, that will take some time, depending on how much editing you have done and how powerful your computer is. If you have a 2 hour final video, then if your computer is not particular strong, it is quite normal to have a rendering time which is 3 - 4 times real time.
Once you have this DVD-compliant mpeg-2 file, then you close your project and start a new project with an empty timeline. Then click on Share > Create Disc > DVD, and the burning screen will appear. Click on the Add Video button and add the DVD-compliant mpeg-2 file you have produced. (Do NOT/NOT add the original project file.) Now, find the little cogwheel icon in the bottom left of the burning screen and make sure that 'Do not convert compliant mpeg files' is checked. Then make your menus, and burn. If you have followed this procedure and not selected burning properties which are different from the properties of your DVD-compliant mpeg-2 file, then the process should not take long, and certainly no more than about half an hour.
If you are using VS9, then try using Dolby AC-3 audio in both the production of your DVD-compliant mpeg-2 and in the burning process, to see if this cures your out of sync problem.

Well, Doing it that way took just as long to do also, but I dont care about how long it takes to Burn any more, What is making me mad is the audio problems,
The Video I import is fine, it plays with the audio in sync with the video and every thing, When I click "open video" and select the file and play it, It plays fine, but as soon as I drag the file on to the time line, the audio and video is going out of sync.
What is going on what what do I need to do to stop this.
Tsanks
