slowing text in animation`

Post by brucefl »

I have tried several different ways to slow the text down during the presentation. I have it scrolling up (fly) it is several lines with about a 30 font. I have tried setting the jog for longer but still seems to scroll up faster than I can read it. I have tried extending the time of it, doesn't seem to help.
any suggestions?
thanks Bruce

Looks like you were on the right track when you say you tried extending the time of it, perhaps you need to be a bit more drastic and extend it a lot more.
Don't forget the zoom factor when extending it on the timeline, you may have to zoom out a bit, otherwise you may be extending by just a few frames rather than a few seconds.

You just need to think a little about what you are trying to do - for instance if you think it needs 5 seconds to read each line and you have 10 lines then your title needs to be at least 5 X 10 = 50 seconds (minimum) long for it to show properly - perhaps a bit more than you imagined ?
